HI !
Thank you for your excellent comment
I agree with you. It is difficult to pull them out of traditional reasoning. However I think "integrative thinking" is a good approach to talk about decision making to some people. To create a new choice makes people think differently!

What I wanted to highlight is that it is necessary a State of mind that does not close on a mold nor give steps forgetting the whole. I don´t see it as a parallel reality. I see it as different phases that are interconnect and maybe the touch points are a new reality as a whole.

It started and ended very well. I would say brilliantly. But in the middle I got sort of mixed up and could not related it to the beginning or the end. Isn't it fair to say that the reality exists as parallel reality and the outcome is also a parallel reality (many phases coexisting together) at different levels but are interconnected as a whole.

Another excellent post from you.

The problem lies with thinking that most problems can and will be solved through rational thinking, which is actually not the case. This is of course a legacy of the so called scientific era.

I have a very simple question to ask people -- Well if your rational approaches and techniques is so sound then can these solve our personal problems in life. The fallacy becomes immediately clear to most since the answer is always no.

Logic does not solve our personal problems. The next question is what techniques would they utilize to buy their next car or select their mates. Again they realize the mistake of being so called rationally driven. In all cases we take decisions based on our emotions and feelings (elements of design thinking) and couch them well with some sort of logic or rationale for no other reason but to give an appearance of being rational and scientific.

So long as we say that Design Thinking falls in between inductive and deductive logic and call it 'abductive' logic we are going to face similar problems in the future too. The smell of logic pulls people to think of the most common ones -- inductive & deductive. And once they have got there it is difficult to pull them out of that.

Thank you Alexandro for your comment and I'm glad you like this blog!
I agree strongly with you that prototyping activity should be expanded. I think that is the ongoing process that everybody must learn because it leverage creativity and promote efficacy in business.

Hi,

First of all congratulations for your blog. Fully agree with your point of view related to the introduction of prototyping in any innovation process. I would also like to remark that this prototyping activity should be also done not only when looking for technical innovations but also in the scope of the business model innovation. More and more the design processes and tools are more followed to produce innovations and I think this is the way that we should follow.
